In 2014, Southern Illinois Raceway started the “Chase for the Chassis” by giving away a basic chassis kit to the points champion in the wing outlaw class by utilizing a new “chase” format. In 2015 we still had the “chase” format; however, we were unable to give away a chassis kit.Well, in 2016 that has all changed!
We are pleased to announce that the Winged Outlaw class for 2016 with be title sponsored by Stallard Chassis! Thanks to the help of Frank Galusha and everyone at EMI/Stallard Chassis we will be giving our Stallard Chassis Wing Outlaw champion a brand new Stallard SST Basic Chassis kit valued at over $3,500! This car has already impressed many in the micro sprint world by running very well in its first year at some big races such as the Highbanks Hustle and ECS Short Track Nationals. The car took home a strong second in Highbanks Hustle preliminary action as well as the $5,000 payday at the ECS Short Track Nationals with Frank Galusha at the wheel.
